1. Travelling by car
If you are travelling to Hvar by car, depending on the direction (Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and other Central Europe countires) you need to go through Zagreb to Split with main Croatian highway A1. If driving from Italy, pass by Rijeka and take highway to Split.

3. Getting to the Hvar island
Once you have reached Split you need to take either catamaran to Hvar town or ferry to Stari Grad.
